The Jefferson County Museum is a nonprofit privately endowed entity. We exist off of our endowment and donations. The Museum Store is not going to try to compete with other sites. What you see is not generally found for sale anywhere else. It is inconvenient to have to purchase by mail with a check or money order, but it is the most economical method for us. Be assured that all proceeds go to the Museum.
